Our Mom

Here is some information about our mom - she's always behind the camera so we don't have pictures of her..... yet.

Native Texan (unlike her sister who was born in Kansas and claims to be a native Texan , HA that's not what her birth certificate says - it clearly states KANSAS). Oh, and by the way, we are all native Texans in this house!

She drools over motorcycles and motorscooters.  2 accidents and a sometimes useless left arm keeps her drooling.  Practicing steering the trike (not motorized) for now and that seems impossible but it shall be conquered. She couldn't find kitty helmets and safety gear or we might have been able to go with her.  She doesn't have it anymore - thank goodness!

She loves old stuff too.  She wants a vintage camper and says she will take us with her when she goes camping.  We aren't sure about that whole camping thing.  We are house kitties 99.8% of the time.  When we escape to the back yard (we let her think she allows us to go outside) she has to come with us.  We are afraid of the cars that go down the alley because we can't see them through the fence.

Texas Native Code:
"I'll be as hearty of mind as I am of body. I'll be a straight shooter and a square dealer. My family name will be sacred and my word will be as good as any contract. I'll remember the Alamo. I'll stick by my friends and I'll eat more chicken fried steak."
Author Unknown but Frost Bank used it in a TV ad

We don't let her ride anymore and we're glad she didn't take us riding!
