New Cat and Kittens.... lol

About a week ago, Brenda from Cozy Little House showed us a cat pillow that I fell in love with!  It kept calling out to me that it wanted to come stay with Sam and Millie.  She very graciously allowed her prototype to be adopted.

Millie says "Hey Ms. Brenda, the cat and kittens don't try to bug me.  They can stay".  See, Millie is very polite (disclaimer... most of the time).
Sam says "what are you talking about?  I'm going back to sleep".

Well, Sam, why don't you tell everyone about escaping AGAIN through the front door and down the street.  And you were so unhappy that I caught you that you scratched my arms so bad I thought I was going to have to go to the doctor.  Neosporin to the rescue and no cat scratch fever to report (yes, I've had that before with a friend's cat).

  1. The cat and kittens are cute!! Our girls are afraid of the door when it's open. They like to look, they like open windows, but an open door is scary. I think that's because we live near a busy street and there's lots of noise out there.

I didn't know cat scratch fever was a real thing. I h=just thought it was made up for the song. I'm thinking it can't be pleasant!

    1. Nani, it is NOT fun. The infection can start going up your veins and if it rounds the shoulder, it can get into your heart. So I watch for any red streaks that appear to be heading to the shoulder, otherwise, soap, water and neosporin work just fine. The antibiotics I had to take were not fun at all. I've only had it once and that was enough to last a lifetime.

Sam's behavior is because he's sick. He's diabetic and he's having behavior problems as well. He's driving me (and Millie) nuts but his sweet playful self is still prominent. The vet is talking about kitty prozac now because the Feldiway stuff doesn't seem to be working either.

  2. I'm so glad your cats approve. You know, I never did get that new prototype completely finished... But that's okay. This one needed a home with cats in it.
